We got out the lefse grill and started getting ready for an afternoon of baking. "I don't suppose you have an apron," she said. Why, yes! Yes, I do! I have my grandmother's apron in the drawer by my kitchen sink with all the dish towels. :)1Ahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12081407943364179723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7622056920062940292.post-78008173936752252882012-02-23T13:44:41.177-06:002012-02-23T13:44:41.177-06:00I expect fixing meals pre modern kitchen convenien...I expect fixing meals pre modern kitchen conveniences required our grandparents to be in the kitchen as many hours as your parents were in running a restaurant. Just like you, Kathy, when my mom put on her apron, she was in charge. Also, my own mother always with an apron. My parents had a restaurant business, so this was always part of her attire. My own favorite apron is one that my sister gave to me. It is red and white checked and has an adjustable strap that goes around the neck. It's so cute and helps to make me feel very much in charge when I have it on. :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
